Setting the price of Alumni & Associates membership, and for other purposes.

IN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ms. Michele Leyendecker sponsored the following resolution.

RESOLUTION

Whereas, The bylaws of Arizona Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. identify three types of membership within the organization: Active Members, Alumni and Associate Members, and Honorary Members; and

Whereas, The 2023 Strategic Plan adopted by the 75th Board of Directors identifies recruiting Alumni and Associates members to participate in the organization and to share their personal experiences when they were active members; now, therefore be it

Resolved, That the State Adviser shall develop a website or portal for Alumni & Associates members to self-manage their membership; and

Resolved, That the price of membership for Alumni and Associates is set at twenty (20) dollars for one year alumni membership and one-hundred (100) dollars for one year associates membership; and

Resolved, That a discounted rate of seventy-five (75) dollars for lifetime alumni membership shall be offered in the inaugural year of Alumni and Associates membership beginning the 1st day of July, 2021 through the 30th day of June, 2022; and

Resolved, That Alumni and Associates membership for any individual who affiliates shall last for one year from the day they pay their membership dues; and

Resolved, That the benefits of Alumni and Associates membership shall be determined by the State Adviser in consultation with the Membership & Recognition Committee, but should include not less than a quarterly electronic newsletter and access to an Alumni and Associates Session offered at the annual State Leadership Conference.

This resolution was approved by at least a majority vote of the 76th Board of Directors of Arizona Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. on this 11th day of June, 2021.
