Approving contracts for special services for the State Leadership Training Team, and for other purposes.

Whereas, The 2023 Strategic Plan adopted by the 75th Board of Directors of Arizona Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. identifies a goal of developing new opportunities for members to be engaged during the State Leadership Conference, outside of competitive events and general sessions; and

Whereas, It is the intention of the State Adviser to contract four (4) individuals to serve on the State Leadership Training Team who have exceptional leadership experience with knowledge of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc.; and

Whereas, The State Leadership Training Team will undergo leadership development trainings led by the State Staff and will then lead workshops at the 2021 Chapter Leadership Camp, 2021 Fall Leadership Conference, and 2022 State Leadership Conference for members and advisers as determined by the State Adviser; now, therefore be it

Resolved, That the Board of Directors approves the proposed contract for special services to be issued to not more than four (4) individuals to be determined by the State Adviser using an application process organized at their discretion; and

Resolved, That the State Adviser shall notify that Financial Services team when various milestones have been met by these contracted individuals at which time the Financial Services team shall issue payment not more than fifteen (15) days after receiving written notification from the State Adviser, or other such individual as they may determine; and

Resolved, That the State Adviser be authorized to make such expenditures as may be necessary to aid in the success of the State Leadership Training Team.
