Jazlyn Escobedo : VP of Membership

Jazlyn Escobedo is a senior at Youngker High School in Buckeye. Jazlyn has been in FCCLA for two years and is currently Secretary of her local chapter. Jazlyn is involved in Student Council as Student Body Secretary of Communications and National Honor Society as a Member at Large. She also takes honors courses and is in the top 10% of her class. After high school she plans to attend Arizona State University to major in Journalism and Communications to become a news reporter. Jazlyn competed in Environmental Ambassador in the 2017 State Leadership Conference, received Gold and qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. FCCLA has allowed Jazlyn to interact with other members from across the country and make lifelong friends along the way. FCCLA is so important to her because it prepares members with skills needed in adult life. It also inspires members to help out within their communities. Competing at the FCCLA conferences requires members to problem solve and finish a particular task within a certain deadline. She is excited to be your Vice President of Membership for the 2018-2019 school year!
