Marisol Aguilar Ojeda is a junior at Westview High School in Avondale. Upon becoming the Vice President of Competitive Events for Arizona FCCLA, she has been in the organization for almost a year. In her year in FCCLA, she has served as her fashion chapter’s Secretary. Marisol is not only passionate about FCCLA, but also her in school studies. She demonstrates this by taking advanced placement and honors courses, in hopes of building up her GPA and class rank. During her time in high school, she has always strived to be a well-rounded student. She has done this by becoming her school’s National Honor Society Historian and her fashion chapter’s Vice President. When it comes to her future goals, Marisol hopes to attend Arizona State University in Tempe to achieve a degree in marketing in order to work in the business aspect of the fashion industry. Marisol believes that FCCLA plays a major role in building the bond between life inside and outside of high school. She is convinced that the organization has done this by creating bridges between her dream career in fashion and her passion to be actively involved her school. This leads to her hope of inspiring others to be apart of FCCLA, because of the organization’s ability to build the foundation for her future.
